I have planned a variety of events for non-profits, including awareness events, fundraisers, concerts, and family fun events. Additionally, I have coordinated weddings and managed two different event venues, gaining experience from all aspects of the industry.

I oversaw a successful proposal for a large chemistry education conference, working with multiple university departments and community resources. Additionally, I led a regional STEM education conference that grew despite pandemic challenges. Check out the full proposal by clicking the image above.

Need for Versatility

As the COO of a small family business, I managed various aspects of the company, from production and sales to marketing and customer service. I also represented the company at events and media appearances. This required me to develop a diverse skill set that I still use today.

I started a weekly e-newsletter years ago to improve communication and unity among my teams. It spread to three companies, promoting two-way communication and feedback, and creating a positive team environment where everyone feels valued.

I developed a business plan and marketing material for a USDA grant application, showcasing my grant management and business skills. See the full document by clicking above.

About me

Hi, I grew up in Middle Tennessee, and have since had the opportunity to travel all over the world. I've been to Turkey, Australia, Italy, France, Spain, and England, just to name a few! In my free time, I love pursuing my hobbies, including crafting, online gaming, cooking, and reading. I'm also passionate about giving back to my community through volunteering and helping small businesses and non-profits. I enjoy playing the piano, theater, and all things geeky. You can find me curled up with a good book or enjoying a quiet afternoon in my hammock when I'm not out and about. My current goals include personal and professional development, improving my growth mindset, and making a difference.
